House Passes $480 Billion Coronavirus Relief Funding Bill


This spending package includes:

  • $320 billion for Paycheck Protection Program loans ($60 billion of which have been carved out for community-based lenders and mid-sized banks so that they can better serve smaller businesses and minority-owned firms)
  • $60 billion for the Economic Injury Disaster Loan program
  • $75 billion for hospitals to cover declines in revenue
  • $25 bullion for coronavirus testing (of which $11 billion will be specifically allocated to states for test supplies, contact tracing effort, and staffing)
