Guidance from the Department of Labor on COVID - 19 Paid Sick Leave and Paid Expanded Family and Medical Leave
On Tuesday, March 24th, the Department of Labor announced that the effective date of the paid sick leave and paid expanded family and medical leave available through the Families First Coronavirus Response Act will be April 1st, 2020. The FFCRA's provisions will apply to leave taken between April 1st, 2020 and December 31st, 2020.
